Troubleshoot when your Palm Pre automatically turns off after closing the slider

You may experience the following issue with your Palm® Pre.
Your Palm Pre may randomly turn off after closing the slider or after a minor impact. For example, if you have the slider open to type a text or an email, if you close the slider and then try to wake your phone, it is turned off.
This issue is caused by the battery not fitting correctly in the phone.
If you experience this issue, to fix it, visit your nearest Sprint Service & Repair Center to have your battery changed out with one that fits better.
