Application icons may be missing from the Home screen of your BlackBerry® Tour™ 9630 smartphone because:

• The Hide Icon setting has been turned on for less frequently used applications.
• There are more than 31 applications installed on your phone.
• The icon was moved into a folder on the Home screen of your phone.

If the Hide Icon setting has been turned on

To show the hidden icons:

1. Select an icon on the Home screen
2. Press the Menu key
3. Click Show All
4. To show the hidden icon, select the transparent icon on the Home screen that you want to make visible
5. Press the Menu key
6. Cancel the Hide Icon selection

If there are more than 31 applications installed on your phone

Only 31 applications can initialize at start up, including third-party and system applications. If you have more than 31 applications installed, remove any unnecessary applications. To remove applications, use one of the three following options:

Use the application loader tool

1. Connect your BlackBerry to a computer with the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and the most recent version of BlackBerry Device Software installed
2. Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager, and then click Application Loader
3. Run the Application Loader Wizard
4. From the applications list, clear the checkbox for the application that you want to remove
5. Click Finish

Manually delete the application

1. If your phone is using BlackBerry Device Software 4.1 or later, go to Options > Advanced Options > Applications
2. If your phone is using BlackBerry Device Software 4.0 or earlier, go to Options > Applications
3. Select the third-party application you want to delete, and then select Delete
4. When asked if you wish to restart the BlackBerry device, select Yes
5. Create an application control policy to remove the unwanted application

If the icon was moved into a folder on the Home screen of your phone

Browse through the folders on the Home screen to locate the missing icon.
