Troubleshoot why the U301 USB Device Sprint 3G/4G Mobile Broadband appears connected in NDIS but will not browse

When you are using the U301 on Windows 7 and change the default setting of RAS to Manual NDIS the device will connect, but will not receive a valid IP address. Sprint SmartView will show "Connected", but you will not be able to browse.
To resolve this issue, open Sprint Smartview and change device mode from NDIS to RAS as the connection type.
