Troubleshoot why your HTC Mogul has incoming SMS messages showing an incorrect year

You may experience the following issue with your HTC Mogul.
An issue has been identified where some Windows Mobile devices may show an inaccurate date with incoming SMS messages showing a year of 2016.
This issue first occurred on January 1, 2010. This is caused by the device attempting to translate a hexadecimal value into decimal when it should not, causing an inaccurate date to be displayed.
This is a known issue and we are working to remedy it through a future handset software update.
