Troubleshoot why your HTC Touch Pro2 has incoming SMS messages showing an incorrect year

A software patch corrects the following issue with your HTC Touch Pro2.
Some Windows Mobile devices, like your Touch Pro2, may show an inaccurate date with incoming SMS messages showing a year of 2016, caused by the device attempting to translate a hexadecimal value into decimal when it should not, causing an inaccurate date to be displayed.
To fix this, please go to our Touch Pro2 download site and follow the instructions to download and install the hotfix.
