Understand how dual band phones operate

Last Updated: Nov 02, 2012

Dual band phones operate on the Sprint Network and on analog networks where roaming agreements are in place. They operate on 1900 MHz CDMA networks and 800 MHz analog networks.

With your dual-band phone, you will be able to make and receive voice calls if you are roaming off the Sprint Network on CDMA networks.

Note: After February 18, 2008, analog roaming partners began retiring their analog networks (analog sunset). Your dual-mode device will no longer operate on these analog roaming partner networks.
