Last Updated: Oct 04, 2016

Answers to some of your questions about your LG G4 battery

  • How much battery power does my LG G4™ have?

Your phone has a 3000 mAh battery, with a maximum continuous talk time of up to 23 hours.

  • How do I tell how much battery charge my phone has?

The battery indicator, located in the top right corner of the screen, can be used to estimate battery charge. For an exact answer, complete the following steps:

    1. From the home screen, tap the All Apps icon.
    2. Scroll to and tap Settings.
    3. In the General tab, scroll to and tap Battery & power saving.
    4. Current battery charge displays under BATTERY INFORMATION.
    5. To always display the battery percentage next to the battery indicator, tap to check Battery percentage on status bar.
  • Why is my LG G4 battery life inconsistent?

Some features on your LG G4 use more battery power than others. Features which a lot of internet connectivity or processing power, such as streaming videos or music, playing games, and web browsing, use significantly more power than simple features like email and text messaging.

The battery will also drain much faster when your network signal is low, and will drain slower when connected to Wi-Fi.

  • How can I conserve my LG G4 battery power?

You can reduce screen timeout and brightness, turn off unused features and apps, use Wi-Fi whenever available, turn off live wallpapers, and limit account synchronization.
