What is Sprint Global Roaming?

Sprint Global Roaming includes data with up to 2G speeds and texting in any of our Sprint Global Roaming countries at no charge with voice calling for just $.20/min.

Is Sprint Global Roaming limited to certain devices?

Yes. Sprint Global Roaming is only available on LTE/GSM capable devices.

Is Sprint Global Roaming limited to certain plans?

Sprint Global Roaming is not eligible with other international roaming plans. If there are no other international roaming plans on your account, then Sprint Global Roaming is enabled for your use with capable devices.

How do I sign up for Sprint Global Roaming?

You have Sprint Global Roaming enabled on your LTE/GSM capable device, unless you have a different international roaming offer enabled. If you would like to learn more about your service or review other options available, you can chat with a representative. You may also view options by logging into My Sprint.

What countries support Sprint Global Roaming?

You can find a list of the countries included with Sprint Global Roaming by going to sprint.com/globalroaming.

How much does Sprint Global Roaming cost?

Sprint Global Roaming is available at no extra cost and can be included when you start a new line or lines with Sprint.

Will I experience the same domestic high-speed data when in Sprint Global Roaming Country?

No. Sprint Global Roaming provides data speeds up to 2G, or 64 KBps. For faster data speeds, you can purchase a Sprint International Speed Data pass or select another plan such as Sprint Open World.

What should I do before I travel out of the country?

Verify services are available for your device and destination at sprint.com/sww. Ensure your device is set to allow international voice and data roaming.

What if I have already have an International add-on or plan and move to the Unlimited Plus or Family Share Plus plan?

Sprint will not add the new Sprint Global Roaming to your line of service if your account has any existing international roaming service. The service is not compatible with other international roaming services at this time. Please chat with a representative to discuss international options.

What if I travel outside the Sprint Global Roaming countries/destinations

You won't be able to use your device on GSM/UMTS networks when traveling to countries that aren't included in Sprint Global Roaming. Contact Sprint World Wide Care before traveling if you need to use your device in countries that aren't included. Service will work automatically on CDMA networks where available and use will be charged at destination rates. Check sprint.com/sww for a complete list of rates per country.

What are Sprint International Speed Data Passes?

Sprint Global Roaming includes data with speeds up to 2G, but sometimes when you travel, you need faster data.

Sprint International Speed Data Passes give you unrestricted data with no overage charges, in addition to text messaging, at no extra charge, and voice calling for $.20/min. There are three data packages available. Once your data allowance is up, you will revert back to the basic data roaming 2G speeds up to 64Kbps. Add an international pass to your account.

Sprint International Speed Data Roaming Day Pass

100 MB of unrestricted data with no overage charges and text messages, at no extra charge, in any of our Sprint Global Roaming countries with international calling for just $.20/min. Applies for 24 hours, effective immediately after purchase.

Sprint International Speed Data Roaming 1 Week Pass

200 MB of unrestricted data with no overage charges and text messages, at no extra charge, in any of our Sprint Global Roaming countries with international calling for just $.20/min. Applies for seven consecutive days, effective immediately after purchase.

Sprint International Speed Data Roaming 2 Week Pass

500 MB of unrestricted data with no overage charges, and text messages, at no extra charge, in any of our Sprint Global Roaming countries with international calling for just $.20/min. Applies for 14 consecutive days, effective immediately after purchase.

How do I purchase a Sprint International Speed Data Roaming Pass?

You can add a Speed Data Pass by logging in to My Sprint, selecting one of the passes under the International section and clicking Save. Or you can contact Sprint Worldwide Care, by visiting sprint.com/swwsupport or calling +1-817-698-4199.

When does a Sprint International Speed Data Roaming Pass go into effect?

As soon as you activate your Sprint International Speed Data Roaming Pass, it is active for the amount of time you purchased.

What happens if I exceed my data allotment?

If you exceed the amount of data you've purchased, you won't be subject to an overage charge. Your data speed will revert to up to 2G.

What happens after the Sprint Global Roaming Pass expires?

When your pass expires, your data speed will revert back to basic roaming 2G speeds of up to 64Kbps that comes at no additional charge with the Sprint International Speed Data Roaming Pass.

I already have an international calling plan. Does Sprint Global Roaming replace it?

Customers with existing International Roaming Add-ons will be required to remove the add-on before adding Sprint Global Roaming. This will result in a proration of the charges for the existing roaming add-ons.

Important: Some International Roaming Add-ons my no longer be available and won't be able to be added back later.
